Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing Fivestar’s social media strategy that supports the company’s various tech products. This position will manage all social campaigns, the social calendar, and community engagement. The Social Media Manager will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and collaborate with the Creative Team on all content.
Primary Responsibility
- Create and execute organic social media campaigns across Fivestar owned channels: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Threads.
- Manage the scheduling of all posts via the social calendar in Sprout Social.
- Develop social strategies that help grow Fivestar’s social following, brand awareness, and drive traffic to Fivestar’s various tech products.
- Lead Fivestar’s Content Team in the creation of graphics, organic social videos, event recaps, Reels, and TikTok’s.
- Write captions and content that is reflective of the brand voice.
- Engage with Fivestar’s community by responding to in-bound comments and direct messages.
- Help engage new users by commenting and engaging with other relevant accounts and posts.
- Prepare social reports to evaluate the success of organic social campaigns, present to stakeholders, and optimize strategy.
- Research social media trends to bring new ideas to the team, stay relevant, and to inform management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.
- May assist with paid social campaigns as needed.
- Support Fivestar affiliates (i.e. Lacrosse All Stars) with marketing and reporting efforts as needed.
- Represent Fivestar at select on-site activations and events.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and company standards at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must have strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams across the business.
- A strong drive for results, with a proven track record, often delivering under tight deadlines.
- Ability to assess the impact of various media/marketing channels.
- Excellent analytical skills, comfortable working with data and data tools, knowing which questions to ask and how to find the answers.
- Experience developing campaigns for sports, social, or entertainment properties and hyper aware of cultural and category trends.
- Strong analytical skills and evidence of making data driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in social media marketing or managing a corporate social media channel. Experience developing and executing social media campaigns, with a demonstrative portfolio of work within the tech/sports industry.
- Experience with Canva or Photoshop/Illustrator preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
- Experience in sports preferred.

- Travel required (5-10%).
